I've found that a VW Bug replacement throttle cable works great, it's extra
long (4 or 5 feet), the far end is already soldered so it won't unravel and
can be slid into the sheath with no problem, it's  easy to cut and the Carb.
end can be soldered with little effort so it won't fray. And price is right,
around $3.00 or so.
