why do we have to look at is as "trick" your partner???? kind of
dishonest, don't you think?

A friend of mine reminded my husband that I could have started
collecting steam engines.

Since I maintenance my own cars and do most of the house renovation
work as well, stripping woodwork, stripping and rehanging wallpaper,
painting, landscaping, lawn care, bush and shrub trimming, snow
removal, how I spend my "free" time is up to me.

He is also free to purchase whatever he wants...he has a 67 corvette
(and it makes messes in the garage just like the british cars do and
has hissy fits as well.) and had a 52 chev pickup and a 38 chev
pickup. I take care of his vehicles and his 98 Blazer as well. He was
complaining of a sticking throttle on his blazer and it turned out
that the throttle stop needed to be adjusted a hair.

He complains occasionally about doing to much "car" oriented stuff, so
I usually back off and listen to what he is really saying.
