This, alas, did not work, but I tried:
When my girlfriend moved to town from the big city, she suddenly needed a
car (no Metro in rural Ohio). She wanted to fork out $15,000 for a reliable
good new car. At the same time there happened to be several MG's in various
want ads in the area.
I suggested it would make more sense to, instead of buying one Ford Focus,
buy 5 MGs (for the same price!). Then give one of them to me as payment for
keeping one of the other four on the road for her.
