I was sitting around watching "Cat People" (John Heard, Natasha Kinski) the
other night and noticed a very obscure MG reference in the movie.

After Malcom McDowell shows his true colors, John takes Natasha over to his
place for safety (Yea Right). On entering his place, what appears to be an
old fire house revamped into an apartment, there is a scene where she begins
to lift the canvas cover off of an automobile. He says that it is "an old
MG" that he is working on restoring. There is no other reference to the car
in the rest of the movie. From the shape of the tarp it seems to a T series.

Thought it kind of odd to have that reference in the movie. Maybe the
director or John is an MG guy. Probably the director, he did the Nicholas
Cage film "Gone in 60 Seconds" recently. (cool car chase scene at the end,
but no Bullitt)
