Thanks to all that had input. I tried most and can tell you what worked
best:
1. Wire wheel made a hell of a mess all over my usually neat and tidy
garage.
2. The Aircraft stripper appears to be essentially the same thing as ACE
Hardwares heavy duty stripper. I put it on, and almost instantly the top
layer of paint falls to the ground, but the assorted primers and bondo
beneath show a good deal of resistance.
3. **THE WINNER** My 4100 BTU heat gun softens the bondo in seconds. Then I
can easily scrape it off.
