I opened up the speedometer and it looks like there should be a spring on the
paw that runs the gear on the end of the odometer stack. At least there are a
couple of tabs for a spring to hook to. I thought that the spring might have
come off, but there was no spring to be found. And there are no holes in the
unit the spring could have fallen out of. Should there be a spring??????
