On this insurance issue, my coverage for two MGs is with American
Collectors and I have been satisfied with them for a decade. Their max
Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability is only $300,000. That seems
to be pretty low these days, but that is the max that they offer. Their
suggestion was that I have umbrella coverage. Actually, I do, with AMICA,
but AMICA wants the base auto coverage for all vehicles to be with them
and they price base coverage same as ordinary-use vehicles. Multiple car
discount is small.
Has anyone found a company that offers $500,000 liability on their
antique/collectible policies?
