Larry,
  Yes, I have, in my '72GT.  The holes did not make much sense to me
either, until I finally figured out that many of the holes in the plastic
were for screws that required those little slip-on fittings for the
screws to screw into.  ---can't recall the name of the things-they are
grey/black metal clips that have a hole punched for the screw you are
trying to use.  With a dozen of them in hand from the hardware store and
some out-of-the-box visualization, the liners fit right in without
trimming.  They make a great improvement to cabin noise in the GT.
