Is John Towers the next Cecil Kimber? Kimber, like Towers, spent tons of
money on racing, builds his cars out of Morrises (well, rovers, same point
though). His small dedicated team of employees made some super and
outrageous cars in their day. Kimber surely was surely the rare combination
of manager, enthusiast, and entrepreneur. Tower shows more than just signs
of this, and what brings this up is the latest MG-Rover stunt...
Remember that MG-Rover was bought for a tenner? Well on the first
anniversary of the take-over, John Towers gave all 3,500 employees a tenner
to mark the event!
