No, I understood the point, Allen... I was just curious whether this was
one of those deals (like the California ARB with zero-emissions car
mandate) where the technology isn't readily available yet.
I guess I have mixed feelings about this. In general, I tend to look at
gov't mandates like this as meddling, especially when it will cost me
money for something that I do regularly, like most, if not all, of us on
this list. However, we all know the benefits of correct tire pressures on
safety and fuel mileage, and I would suspect that this could be done
fairly inexpensively on a mass-production basis.
