Can people advise me?

I am thinking of looking for a Range Rover. Probably about 10 years old. I
live in the SF Bay area, so difficulty in maintaining the emission controls
are an issue for me.

Mileage would be low: less than 10k miles.

So, is this a good idea? What do I need to look out for/avoid?

I should probably post this to the Land Rover list, but I figure that I may
get a more balanced view from the MG list!
