When you replace the Splitfires with the NGKs, what condition where the
Spitfires in? IMHO, replacing a used set of even the best plugs with a new
set of any plug will result in better burn.
Also the Bosch Plus 4 is not recommended for a points ignition system.
I have used the Plus 4's in my XJ6 for three years with no problem, even
starting at -40. I would definately put them into my 78B if I decided to
replace my eurospec pointes distributor with an electronic model.
