As for value, around my neck of the woods (NY,NJ,PA) a car in that condition
would run around $3000, tops. My Dad bought a 77 (almost exactly as you
describe, color, condition, etc.) about 2 years ago and paid $2200 (Guy was
originally asking $2500).
