There should be no copper washers used in a B. Most cars use a banjo fitting
to connect the brake hose to the caliper and require a copper washer on each
side of the fitting. MG's use s system where the tapered end of the brake
hose seals with the bore of the hole where the brake hose enters the caliper.
The rebuilder probably automatically includes the washers.
I'm not sure about the plugs you talk about because I can't follow your
description.
