sorry, I thought I mentioned that it is a '71.  As far as I can tell the
wiring was unaltered by the PO.  I looked more closely through the diagram
once I got home and it looks like there is a three wire junction after the
ignition switch on the white circuit.  One wire appears to the fuel pump and
then to the green fuse.  This seems to cover all of the things that went
bad.  I'm off to have a look now.  We'll see how it goes.
