Hi List,
I've pulled the rack, front brakes, and suspension off my MGA and see that the
forward most wishbone arm supporting the spring pan is in bad shape on the R
side. The hole for the steering lever bolt is worn oval and the bolt itself is
scored roughly half-way through.
As I need to replace the wishbone brackets I was considering installing a front
sway bar kit from Moss. Unfortunately the car was not running when I purchased
it and I never had a chance to drive it, experience body roll, etc.. Do any of
you have experience with the Moss kits, or others? What are your
recommendations re bar diameter?
The car will be running 60 spoke wheels, stock tires, and quite probably a MGB
1800 motor. It won't be raced, just some spirited driving on the twisties here
in Arizona.
Thanks for any input,
Bill Shear
