Thanks for getting back to me. I was asking about the overdrive switch.
What I really need to know concerns the O/D,washer,wiper stalk in an
early 1977 car. Has anyone disassembled the stalk such that the bits
inside are revealed? I need to know what sits in the end of the small
spring which operates the O/D switch. When I opened up the switch I was
working on, there was nothing in the end of the spring, which explained
why the switch wouldn't work. Some dimensional data and a small pic
would be excellent.
