James,

It's been my experience that those products are temporary fixes. In other
words, they don't last very long. They also tend to accumulate in places
that you would rather not have them and it's difficult to clean to deposits
out.

Does anyone have any experience with products that are intended to seal
small
coolant leaks? I have a very small leak on the sealing surface of the front
cover of the V8. It is caused by a defect in the sealing surface and does
not
warrant pulling the thing apart and replacing it, but I would like to seal
it
for cleanliness' sake.

TIA
james
