Have you done any diagnostics other that waiting for the car to start?
Get a spark tester (or use a screwdriver carefully) and see if there is a
spark when the car dies. Failure of the electonic ignition when hot is the
first sign of a total failure.
If there is spark, check to see if you are getting gas. If the venting system
is partially plugged, a vaccuum occurs in the fuel sustem and the pump can't
overcome it. Or you may have vapor lock.
