That's why I maintain a "throwaway" email account at Yahoo.

So I can sign up for things without using my active address.

I have been told there is a way to share photos on Ofoto without requiring
this but I haven't figured that out yet. I bet they hide it.

Phil:

Nice little thumbnail. To bad this web site makes you sign
up for the spam or the mailing lists they sell. To bad all
I'll see is the thumbnail.

Kodak pulls the same stunt with their CD. You can't use
either one unless you "sign up." I went in to Kmart and
complained when I couldn't access their "on line" viewing
without "signing up". This is a big rip off as I paid extra
to get the online photos only to have to submit more
information to get what was legally mine!

Kmart then ordered the CD. Same old Came-a-part. CD
contained only Kodak's imaging program and spam. There were
no photo images on the CD in any common imaging format such
as TIFF or JPEG. Took the CD back and told them I'll get my
processing done elsewhere.

And we worry about government invasion of privacy?
