Why don't you want an electric antenna? I've been using them on my MGB's
since 1993. K-Mart specials for real cheap $. They work fine. Turn on the
radio - up it goes. Turn it off - it retracts into the fender. No
temptation for punks wanting to make zip guns (Remember them back in the
days when real guns were hard to buy.) & nothing to catch on a car cover.
