I made the same modifications two years ago. Made a big (positive) change
in the running of the car (a 1976B)....best description....from a kiddy car
to a kiddy sports car.  (Let's face it...with the 1800, no matter how well
tuned, it has only limited horses.) 
 The HIF's after appropriate tuning clearly made the car run better even to
the untrained ear. 

And the historic designation is a good deal even though some purists might
argue against it.  Too bad it is so cold now....
