This fellow has gone through three alternators, no idea what type of
car.  But I have never seen anyone post a question as .....   bad?  as
this one to our list.

I don't actually know how it failed, yet.  I'm supposed to go talk to
the 
mechanic on Monday. It was diagnosed when I was out of town.   So, I 
guess that's the first line of questioning.

I did have some problems with my ECU a couple of years ago.  It got wet

(Hole in the floorpan) in a bad rainstorm and freaked out.  I've
wondered 
if there was any long term damage to it.

Anyone know where I can get a new distributor, or does it make sense to

go with a used one?
