I would think what matters most is the angle of wind deflection. In
other words, an old Willys Jeep will be covered with bug juice where a
Lamborghini Countach would have much less.
On the other hand, our New Beetle seems to pick up quite a few splats
and it has an extremely rounded windshield, so maybe my theory is bogus.
Regardless, get some Rain-X and you will have less trouble with them.
