detailing SU's

Anyone have a suggestion for 'detailing' SU carbs? I am rebuilding a
set of HS4's for our MGB and would like some ideas on keeping the
carbs looking nice after I've cleaned them up. I don't want to polish
or chrome them - just make them look nice & stay that way.
