Sounds like you're getting the runaround.

While the front brakes locked, open the bleeder.  If the brakes release,  it
is the caliper, or the hose.   If it release, then try undoing the hose where
it joins the brake line.  If it releases, it's the hose.  If not it is the
proportioning valve or the master.

Oops, one thing I almost forgot.  Check the level of the master.  If it is too
high, when the fluid heats up and expands, the brakes will drag, the fluid
will get hotter, and eventually lock the brakes.
