Brake Failure Switch

I have just replaced the brake failure switch on the master cylinder of
a 1975 MGB. The original was leaking. We now have a new paint job and I
find the new switch is also leaking onto the inner fender.

 

Does anyone have a solution to this? Was there a washer under the
switch? Is there a sealant that will stand up to brake fluid?
