Am not familiar with B's, but I've a Spitfire that has little holes in the
sides of the heater knobs, and an appropriate sized Allen wrench (little
hex-sided shaft) is inserted in the hole, engages a little screw in there
and is turned anti-clockwise to loosen, allowing removal of knob.
