You could run the old Amphicars in salt water -- you just had to be sure to
hose them off with fresh. I suspect this vehicle is much better in the
anti-corrosion department, and in general waterproofness. I think it's great
that someone is doing this, although it's hard to imagine that anyone really
needs this vehicle at the price.
