A high powered soldering iron is **very** important. It
is best to use an iron of 50 watts or greater, or a
soldering gun (nominally 100W or greater). If you try to
solder a bullet connector with an iron that is too small
(i.e. 25W), then all that you will do is to melt the wire
insulation and/or any plastic near the connector. Or worse,
you may have a "cold" solder joint which will probably fail
usually at the worst possible time. (Lucas's law)
