I tried to go there earlier, but the link i followed came back as invalid.  
Anyway, here's the page with his homemade hitch:

perhaps adaptable to the MGB.  
Then just substitute a receiver for the flat stock the ball mounts to and you 
can use one of those fancy Thule ski-racks.  The store bought rack will 
probably 
cost more than whatever you fabricate!
