Mmm... I think I've seen plans to build a custom hitch for an MG...not sure 
though, might have been for an MGA.  I'll see if I can find the website.  
Should be fairly simple to build a receiver hitch to hold a ski rack though.  
Perhaps one of the other listers knows of a source for plans?
