When I first got my B it didn't leak a bit.  I had to replace the cam 
shaft. 

When I pulled it all apart I found sealant everywhere. 

When I reassembled it, I cleaned all of the  surfaces and assembed it 
without sealant, just using the gaskets and a bit of oil.

I can now say that my MG leaks like a proper English car.
