Set the gap to .014 to .016 then measure the dwell. Unless this is very
close to 60 degrees there is something wrong either with your dwell meter
(check another points car), distributor or possibly wiring.  Connect a
voltmeter to the coil -ve with the ignition on and turn the engine by hand.
With the points open you should see full battery voltage, with them closed
you should see 0v.  I'm assuming negative ground, it only changed some time
in 67, you could have a 68 registered early 67 car.  On positive ground cars
some digital dwell meters have to be connected the other way round *and* the
reading subtracted from 90.
