While disassembling the rear end of my 74 MGB (with
wire wheels) to fit new springs, bushings and renovate
the brake SCs, I was able to remove the left hand
brake drum, but the right side one is completely
stuck.
No amount of prying against the back plate would move
it. I picked up the BFH but it was too late at night
to make much noise. So I cursed and glared at it for a
while to no avail.
Does anyone have a magic trick for freeing a brake
drum from its hub?
