Paul:

I've got a fiberglass trunk lid skin, but unfortunately unless you are
really convincing I'm loath to have to pack and ship it.

It's one of the superlight, unreinforced ones that were used on some of
the Modsport racers in the UK and is pretty flimsy.

For what you are doing, you are probably better off with a stock steel
lid.

Kelvin.

I have an aluminum bonnet that is going on my MGB
tourer when it gets pained next month, but I need a
trunk lid too. Does anyone know of a fiberglass trunk
lid available anywhere?

The Mark 1's didn't come with an aluminum trunk lid,
did they?

If there is nothing leightweight available, does
anyone have a good, used steel one they'd part with?

Thanks in advance,
