This summer, I had wipers that wouldn't turn -- it turned out to be a
kink in the pipe, and end float a little long on the wiper motor.
Fixed those problems, and it worked great for a few months.
Now, a new problem: they rise up from a resting position just fine,
make a full sweep one way -- and then stop somewhere around vertical on
the way back. Thereafter, they make short side-to-side sweeps from the
vertical position to the fully extended position.
I've got Rain-X on the windshield, and it's great stuff. But the
primary weather hazard these last few weeks has been morning fog,
rarely dense enough to bead up and run off the rain-x.
Anyway, what might be going on here?
