Now that I have a compressor and spray gun, I was thinking about
spraying the boot lid on my MGA (and maybe more if that goes well).
Basic question: where do I get the necessary paint mixed? If I try
Yahoo's Yellow Pages search for "auto paint", I get lots of hits for
body shops, but nothing that seems to supply the paint -- or do I find
a body shop and buy the paint there?
Next question: is spraying paint something that a beginner can do a
reasonable job of? Any general advice? Any precautions I should take?
I'm in California, so I assume that I cannot buy really toxic (read
"good") paint. I guess I will have to buy a filter for my compressor,
but apart from that, I'm in the dark.
