Monte, Paul is right on.  The only way you'll be able to purchase the
"proper" coil from NAPA is to take your ohm reader with you.  BTDT. 
They cannot tell you if the coil is 6V or 12V, or what the ohm reading
will be.  Or at least they could not tell me.
