While I can't say that this has NEVER been done, I would think it would
not be easy, considering it's a FWD drivetrain. You'd need to find a
tranny that would fit. Most people do the GM V6 in one of it's iterations,
it's pretty much a bolt-in for the late-model B's, with a nice 5-speed
transmission. And given the V6's 'low tech' nature (i.e., no dual overhead
cams or VVT), it fits in nicely with the B's 'low tech' nature. You'd have
to do something about the 'farty' exhaust note, however....
