Well now I've done it.
My wife went away for a week and I went out and bought another car. Actually
I've been looking for a classic convertible the whole family (read - three
boys and me) can use for a while now - and a really good deal on a 75 Buick
Le Sabre fell into my lap (please spare me the land yacht jokes - it's
actually a cool car). Now we all can go cruising for ice cream.
Actually it may be a good thing that the car is so big - when my wife comes
home I may be sleeping in it!! So the best thing for me to do is sell my 1970
B. I will still have the TD for me and the big car for everyone.
Anyone interested in a decent car, fairly original - everything but the paint.
It has a new exhaust system, recent carb tune up, new battery. Good top. It's
a good runner and a solid ten footer. Very good candidate for a full
restoration or a great daily driver.
I need to get $4500 Canadian out of it (about $3700 USD) The car is in
Edmonton, Canada. I will deliver it to the US Border (Coutts, Montana)for gas
and a bus ticket home, or shipping can be arranged.
