Can one still buy tapered shims? These used to be used to adjust
clearances.
I put my B engine together with .0025 clearances. Dunno if I'd have
worried about a half a thou, but then I live in a warm climate and run
20W-50 oil year 'round.
BTW, did you have the rods resized?
