Last Sunday I drove my MGB GT V8 to the Bronte British Car Show which
is held in the Bronte Provincial Park just west of Toronto on the
Queen Elizabeth's Way. This was the second test run - the first being
a complete disaster. My car sang like a bird all the a way (80-ish
miles). However still have a whine (rear axle of gearbox?) And
marvels of marvels my wife ENJOYED the ride.

Bronte is fantastic. At 11.30 there were 825 Brit cars registered
and they still were pouring in. There were all sorts from a
diminutive 1926 Austin Chummy to a enormous double decker bus. I
bought a 1933 Rolls Royce Continental Saloon, three MG TFs (well I
could not decide which colour I liked best), a Lotus Elite, a
charming Jap engined three wheeler Morgan, a couple of TRs including
a TR2, and a 1976 Lancia 1.3L Fulvia (because it was pushed away to
one side and looked lost) - and that was BEFORE lunch!!

If anyone lives close to Toronto I thoroughly recommend it. But I
would like to hear numbers for other people. For Canada nearly 1,000
Brit cars is pretty awesome - but what is that like for the States?
