Nanjing *is* shipping equipment from Longbridge to China, and talk of
resuming production at Longbridge is being couched in ever more vague terms.
They have apparently come to an agreement with SAIC so that both will be
able to make cars based on MG Rover designs. There has been no more talk of
the mysterious 'GB Sports Cars' of which I could find no reference on the
web apart from a similarly named small-scale seller of 2nd-hand Midgets and
the like based in Milton Keynes or somesuch.

Came across a curious news item this week saying that an Indian company is
to start producing, with MG Rover, an SUV dubbed 'Rhino Rover'. I wondered
whether April 1st came at a different time of year in India.
