They all are.  It is not the axle or the spring hangers but the several
panels that go up and round the wheel arch that seem to be the problem.
Some have centred the wheels in the wells by shifting the mounting pads, but
that just makes the car crab which is not a good idea. Converting from steel
to wires just by swapping the hubs makes it worse.  However my V8 used to
have 195s and they didn't rub. If you have plenty of clearance on the
inboard side of the tyres you could try a wire-wheel axle with steel wheel
(if that is what you have) hubs, they are about 1.5" narrower overall.
