I've used Heli-coils with great success, although not specifically for
this repair. But it is a nearly indestructible fix.
OR, I happen to have a Quaiffe differential, unused, already mounted in
an MGB rear axle. Sure would stop that leak. It will cost more than
the Heli-coil, though.
