Well, I thought that was something you would want to clear up, since one of
the possible causes for dieseling is that the timing is off. Another is
low-octane fuel, as mentioned; another would be running too hot, which can
also be caused by timing.

I run my 66 B at around 12 degrees advanced on premium fuel, but I don't
know what the compression ratio is on your motor, or whether it's modified
at all.
