When that happened in my MGA it was the hose to the slave cylinder that =
had failed. It is not apparent from just looking at it because the =
failure is inside the hose, same as the brake line hoses. That was an =
easier fix than replacing the clutch. Even replacing the slave or =
rebuilding it is far less labor intensive than pulling the motor and =
gearbox to get to the disc and pressure plate.=20

Picked it up today =E2=80=93 when you start it in gear, it starts =
moving. Accelerate and it goes, and if you put in the clutch, it takes =
most of the pressure off but it still creeps.

=20

Am thinking that I=E2=80=99ll bleed the clutch slave cylinder.

=20

After that I=E2=80=99m thinking I need to replace the clutch . . .

Agree, it would be like the clutch was fully engaged. Most likely =
hydraulics as said, or possibly pilot bearing or friction plate binding.

  ----- Original Message -----=20

I=E2=80=99d check hydraulics first. If it was stuck I think =
you=E2=80=99d be doing more than creeping.
