Teams,
Any help would be appreciated on this.
I am working on modeling the suspension system of the mini-baja on Matlab
(Simulink), starting with a quarter-car model. From researching online, I
am pretty sure that most groups who chose to go this way are using the same
characteristic equations. I have completed a block diagram that is accurate
for these.

My questions are:

1. What range of values are you using for your dampening and spring
constant
values (dampening of shock absorber, spring constant of tire and coils)?
Where did you get these numbers? In Simulink these act as gains.
2. How did you model the input? Did you use step, impulse, or sinusoid?
3. Have you done any work improving to a half-car or full-car model and how
much more complicated is this?
