When you say frame should weigh 40-60lbs is that just the tubing or includes 
all of the bracketry (suspension, steering, drivetrain, engine brackets)?

Also, we used 1.25x0.049 mild steel (A36) and finding local 
deformation/crushing to be fairly common.  With 4130, you guys have at least 
twice the yield strength and thus your frame will withstand twice the force if 
not more.
